Sometimes a Wi-Fi connection just won't cut it and you'll want, no...need, to get an Ethernet connection for your TV, PC or remote heating control system.

Your 'Gateway' eero has one spare port to allow you to plug in one additional device, but if you need more, you can use it to add an Ethernet switch.

We recommend you connect a 1Gb/s Ethernet switch to the remaining port on your eero 'Gateway'.

1Gb/s Ethernet switches can be purchased from Amazon or other electrical retailers and are generally plug-and-play. You'll need a CAT5e/6 cable (Ethernet cable) to connect the switch to the eero.
