Multiple guest passwords can be used under a single WPA2 SSID. This allows individual passwords for the WiFi network, with customized local network permissions, for all your family members and frequent guests.
Note: Multiple passwords are not supported for the WPA3 SSID. If you only have a WPA3 SSID. A WPA2 WiFI network needs to be created for dedicated guest access.
Open the Network page.
Under the Connectivity tab, tap on the WPA2 Passwords tile.
Open the Guest tab and tap on Create guest password.
The Guest tab is only visible when the WPA2 password is chosen.
Enter the Guest name and select which device(s) you want to share.
The list of Share devices contains all devices connected to the Plume Home WiFi network using a Home password along with Ethernet-connected devices.
Sharing a device allows local network access to the said device by any device using this Guest password.
Tap on Next.
Enter the Guest password.
Passwords need to be 8-63 characters long.
Combinations of upper and lower-case letters, numbers, and special characters will make the WiFi password more secure.
WiFi passwords cannot contain the following characters: ö,ä,ü,ß
Choose when you want the password to expire and tap on Create.
