How easy is it to set up Plume Home?

Read this, and 5 minutes later, you'll be up and surfing.

  1. Download the Plume Home app: Download the HomePass app for iOS or Android onto your phone.

  2. Create or log in to your Plume account: Create a new Plume account using the same email and name you used to place your order. If you already have an account, log in.

  3. Verify your email: Click the verification link in the email sent to you.

  4. Connect your first SuperPod: Connect the first SuperPod to your existing router or modem using an Ethernet cable.

  5. Place your SuperPods: Place the remaining SuperPods in strategic locations around your home, such as central areas or rooms with weak Wi-Fi coverage.

  6. Set up your Wi-Fi network:

    • Keep your current network: Choose to keep your current Wi-Fi name and password for a seamless transition.

    • Create a new network: If you prefer a new network, the app will guide you through the process.

  7. Disable your old router's Wi-Fi: Turn off the Wi-Fi function on your old router.

  8. Optimize your network: Over the next 24 hours, your Plume network will automatically be optimized to deliver the best performance for all your devices.
