Using your own router with Cuckoo
Updated over a month ago

Whilst we provide all you need to connect you to your full fibre service, we know that some customers like to use their own equipment.

The obvious call out is that we can't provide you the same level of technical support as we would if you were using our equipment, but we'll try our best to.

IMPORTANT: You'll need to retain your eero, as we would expect it to be returned if you leave Cuckoo for whatever reason. A cost may be incurred for any non-returned equipment.

Full Fibre compatibility

If you are using your own router, here are the things to look for to make sure your router is compatible with a Cuckoo full fibre connection.

  • Your router must support connection via an RJ45 WAN ethernet port

  • Make sure you have an RJ45 cable to connect your router to the ONT

Authentication & PPP details

Please contact our Customer Support Team to obtain your PPPoE login details to allow you to connect to the network.
