There are multiple places in the Plume Home app where you can apply a Timeout. For quick access, you can start a new Timeout directly from the Home page. Individual Profile pages and device detail pages will also have the Timeout option.
Starting a Timeout from the Home page
Scroll down to the Manage section of the Home page.
Tap the Start new Timeout button.
Choose what this Timeout will be applied to.
Choose the Profile(s) to apply the Timeout to all assigned devices.
Use the chevron on the right of the Profile or Unassigned devices to expand and view individual devices, allowing them to be selected.
Tap Next.
Select the duration of the Timeout.
30m, 1h, or 2h
Indefinite - The Timeout remains active until you manually cancel it.
Custom - Allows you to set durations ranging from 1 minute up to 23 hours and 59 minutes.
Tap Start Timeout.
Applying a Timeout from a Profile
Open the Profiles page.
Tap on the People or Group tab and swipe through the Profiles until you find the one you want.
Tap on the Timeout button displayed under the Profile image.
If there is no button, the Profile does not have any devices assigned to it yet.
Select the duration of the Timeout.
30m, 1h, or 2h
Indefinite - The Timeout remains active until you manually cancel it.
Custom - Allows you to set durations ranging from 1 minute up to 23 hours and 59 minutes.
Tap on Start Timeout.
The Profile will now display that they are in a Timeout and how many minutes are left before it expires.
Applying a Timeout from a device
Open the Network page and switch to the Devices tab.
Select the device you want to Timeout.
Tap on the Timeout button displayed under the device information.
Select the duration of the Timeout.
