When you upgrade from the HomePass mobile app to the Plume Home app, most features and settings you have previously configured will automatically migrate to the Plume Home app. However, due to the functionality of the Focus feature, there will be some exceptions to what can be migrated from the Internet Freeze to Focus.
Type of Internet Freeze schedule in Plume HomePass | Assignment Rule (Individual Devices/People/Profiles) | Will it be migrated as a Focus? |
Indefinite Freeze | Assigned to Devices/People/Profiles | Yes |
Indefinite Freeze | Assigned to the "At home" Profile* | No |
Indefinite Freeze | Assigned to unassigned Devices | No |
Indefinite Freeze | Unassigned | No |
Custom Freeze schedule | Assigned to Devices/Groups/Profiles | Yes |
Custom Freeze schedule | Assigned to individual unassigned Devices | Yes** |
Custom Freeze schedule | Assigned to the "At home" Profile | No |
Custom Freeze schedule | Unassigned | No |
Time Out (if not already expired) | Assigned to Devices/Groups/Profiles | Yes |
* The "At home" profile in the HomePass app is where all devices get automatically assigned before you assign them to a specific Person Profile.
** Because Focuses are only assigned to People or Group Profiles in Plume Home, when an Internet Freeze schedule assigned to individual devices is migrated from HomePass, a new Group Profile is created in the Plume Home app. The new Group Profile in the Plume Home app will be named after the Device, and the Internet Freeze will be applied to it as a Focus. If that same device were assigned multiple Internet Freeze schedules, only one Internet Freeze schedule would be migrated.
